The Foundation’s Speaker Series
Connecting Our Community Through Shared Vision and World-Class Speakers
At the Sacramento Mountains Foundation, we believe that a community thrives when it is connected. This Speaker Series has been created to act as a catalyst for conversation — bringing world-class speakers to our corner of New Mexico that are thought leaders, entertainers, and inspirational voices. With these resources, we aim to spark the ideas and energy that empower our residents to grow and prosper.
Investing in Empowering Voices
Twice a year, the Foundation hosts community events in Otero County that are designed to do more than just entertain. We want to celebrate the unique culture of our region, challenge our perspectives, and strengthen the bonds that make our community resilient. Whether it’s an evening of laughter, a deep dive into leadership, or a story of personal triumph, each event is an investment in the vitality and quality of life for everyone who calls this region home.
Building on Success
From our inaugural event in September 2025 with legendary entertainer Terry Bradshaw to our upcoming featured guests, the Foundation is committed to providing a platform where Otero County can gather, learn, and be inspired — together.

Creating a Legacy for Otero

TERRY BRADSHAW: Entertainer, Athlete, and Inspirational Voice

Our semiannual series was launched with a free event as a gift to the people of Alamogordo — a legendary evening featuring Terry Bradshaw. A household name known for his championship spirit and infectious humor, Bradshaw brought an incredible energy to the Alamogordo area. His stories of resilience and leadership resonated deeply with our local mission, proving that when Otero County invests in quality experiences, our community responds with overwhelming pride and participation.
“For Alamogordo, Bradshaw’s lecture was more than a celebrity visit. It was a night of connection, encouragement, and community spirit — led by a football icon who reminded everyone that greatness begins with humility and heart.” Bradshaw engaged with member of the Alamogordo Tigers football team and told them, “Play with heart, not just muscle. Your character will carry you further than any touchdown ever will.” — AlamogordoTownNews.org
