This Speaker Series has been created to act as a catalyst for conversation — bringing world-class speakers to our corner of New Mexico that are thought leaders, entertainers, and inspirational voices. With these resources, we aim to spark the ideas and energy that empower our residents to grow and prosper.

The Sacramento Mountains Foundation Speaker Series is more than a tradition; it is a growing archive of inspiration. When we look back at the world-class talent we have hosted, we will see a community that is eager to listen, learn, and lead.
GARY SINISE: Actor, Director, Philanthropist
Building on the excitement of our inaugural Sacramento Mountains Foundation’s Speaker Series event, the second event welcomed acclaimed actor, humanitarian, and veteran advocate Gary Sinise to a full house with approximately 600 people in attendance.
Far more than a familiar face from Hollywood, from roles such as Lieutenant Dan in “Forrest Gump,” Sinise brought his decades-long commitment to honoring members of the military, veterans, first responders, and their families to Alamogordo reminding attendees that “it wasn’t about applause. It was about gratitude.” His heartfelt stories of service, resilience, and sacrifice resonated deeply with the community, reinforcing the Foundation’s mission to create meaningful experiences that celebrate strength, unity, and the values that bind us together.
TERRY BRADSHAW: Entertainer, Athlete, and Inspirational Voice
Our semiannual series was launched with a free event as a gift to the people of Alamogordo — a legendary evening featuring Terry Bradshaw. A household name known for his championship spirit and infectious humor, Bradshaw brought an incredible energy to the Alamogordo area. His stories of resilience and leadership resonated deeply with our local mission, proving that when Otero County invests in quality experiences, our community responds with overwhelming pride and participation.
